If you don’t have the best tools for your business, how can you expect to be more efficient or improve your business? But with so many options out there, how do you know which laptop to get for your business? We’ve done the research for you and boiled it down to these five laptops which we believe are the best for doing business on.
Remember when looking for a new laptop for your business, you want to base your decision on the performance abilities of the computer more than price alone. Choosing a laptop that will work great for your company will end up saving you tons of money in the long run.
Lenovo ThinkPad T460
We’ve given the Lenovo ThinkPad T460 4 of 5 stars, and rated it the best overall for any size business. Some of the features we like that are a great help to the businessman are a long-lasting, high-capacity battery; highly accurate TrackPoint and touchpad; and a comfortable keyboard. It also has a durable design which means it will last. Some of the negative features were that the display didn’t have a great color range and it doesn’t have a PCIe SSD option.
Lenovo ThinkPad 13
The Lenovo ThinkPad 13 got 4.5 of 5 stars from us and was determined to be the best overall laptop for small businesses. It earned this title because it’s affordable, has a long battery life, features a USB Type-C port, and a great keyboard. The only disadvantages to this laptop are a sensitive touchpad, slow SSD, and the keyboard is not backlit. However, because of how much you get for what you’re paying, we highly recommend small businesses seriously consider this laptop.
Lenovo ThinkPad X260
The Lenovo ThinkPad X260 earned 4 of 5 stars from us. This laptop is particularly great for the businessman who does a lot of traveling because of its lightweight but durable design. It also has a comfortable keyboard, and an impressive battery life of up to 17 hours, making time spent away from electric outlets just as productive as any other time. The only negative is that if you don’t opt for a screen upgrade, the display is a bit dull.
HP EliteBook Folio G1
We gave 4 of 5 stars to the HP EliteBook Folio G1 and believe it to be another great laptop for travelers. It’s not only lightweight, super thin, and durable; it also offers a colorful 4K screen, an accurate face login, and a great keyboard. What we don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have the best battery life and has no full-size USB port. However, with its robust performance capabilities, it’s worth checking out if you’re in the market for a new laptop for your business.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga received 4 of 5 stars during our evaluation. We like its durable, light, and flexible design, accurate stylus, outstanding keyboard, and optional OLED screen. What’s most impressive, though, is the battery life that can last a full workday, even if you’re using it extensively. The problems we found were that it has a slower SSD speed on the Core i5 model, and the bottom tends to get warm when running. But, if you’re looking for a business laptop that can keep going all day without needing a break, this is the one for you.
